I think I’m pretty much done with the Kleenex again. For this I am very grateful. I actually washed up all my dishes with out having to dry my hands and find that box again. Still, I’m not back on track as far as daily lists and schedules go. But I have had time to think about not only my routine, but my goals a lot lately.
Sometimes the routine looks pretty simple. After all, how hard is it to keep house for two, cook for two, and wash clothes for two? Of course we do have company. Sometimes a lot. Obviously that means more dishes and more clean up, but it’s still simple stuff.
Add working randomly -even if it is mostly from home- and the unpredictability of our daily life right now, and it does create the need for flexibility. I’ve been thinking about this- balancing home life, working, and goals. It’s been good to solidify those thoughts more and actually get down my goals into some sort of order and into categories. (Did I ever mention that I spend too much time organizing my to-do lists and goals?) I
One of those goals has been to finish up my navigation pages here on this blog. Being in bed most of yesterday day wasn’t necessarily helpful to my schedule or our little routine, but it was rather helpful to this particular goal, because I got ‘em more or less done.
Now, feel free to browse through, and do tell me if you see anything too crazy. Because I’m pretty sure, even though I’ve read over them a time or two, that I likely did not get them perfect. There aren’t comment options on the pages, but there’s always comments here if you have something you want to point out. :)
So, while I’m looking forward to this coming week, to being better with time management, house management, cooking management and goal management, I’m feeling happy that progress is indeed being made. Even if its just a little at a time.
I’m still planning to share more of my flexi-schedule. And maybe more about the motivation behind my goals. But all of that for another day…
Hello from your London penpal :) I keep meaning to write to you now that I have your updated address (at least, I think I have it … ) but it’s quite the busy season at the moment. Love the new blog and enjoy reading about your adventures. Hope all is well x
Congratulations to your move! I enjoyed your writing over at YLCF and was glad to find you here in such a pretty new home. I am looking forward to visiting often here!
Blessings from Germany, Martina
I did notice your Categories yesterday and how your site was looking “spruced up” and organized. Good for you! :)
I love the word you used- Flexi-schedule. Ah yes, the story of my life too!
Glad to hear you are feeling better and no longer need that Kleenex!
